Main events (and related music) in Pride & Prejudice?

I need 12 to 15 main events, as well as the chapter(s) in the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Also, if anyone knows any songs that go well with the events (like a soundtrack), that would be GREAT! Thank you so so so much, this is for a school project, and I really need help!

Main events (and related music) in Pride %26amp; Prejudice?
I'll help, because I know what it is to panic when having an assignment you must complete (even though some people would tell you to do your own homework). However, I urge and encourage you to read the book. It is a classic and is excellent. You can even read it online http://www.online-literature.com/austen/... - and then you will have the ability to find and know things for yourself. At the very least, rent the A%26amp;E version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth. Though you'll still be missing a lot, it will give you some personal knowledge! You still need to check me out (the above link will allow you to check for words and phrases yourself) to make sure I haven't made an boo-boos. (I didn't make any mistakes intentionally, however! I would never do that!)

I'll list some events, using the chapter numbers from the book (but one that isn't divided into Volume I, Volume II, and Volume III - as some are - however, the end of Volume I would be chapter 23; volume II ends at chapter 42; chapter 43-61 are volume III).

1. Mr. Bingley rents Netherfield (chapter 1)

2. Meryton Ball - Elizabeth first meets Mr. Darcy, Jane first meets Mr. Bingley (chapter 3)

3. Mr. Wickham tells Elizabeth that Mr. Darcy has treated him abominably (chapter 16)

4. The Netherfield Ball (which exposes the silliness of Mrs. Bennet, Mr. Collins and the younger Bennet girls-chapter 18)

5. Mr. Collins proposes to, and is refused by, Elizabeth (chapter 19)

6. Mr. Collins proposes to, and is accepted by, Charlotte Lucas (chapter 22)

7. Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth in Hunsford parsonage and is rejected (chapter 34)

8. Elizabeth receives Mr. Darcy's letter of explanation (chapter 35)

9. The regiment departs from Meryton and Lydia goes with them to Brighton with Colonel and Mrs. Forster (chapter 41)

10. Elizabeth and her aunt and uncle go to view Mr. Darcy's estate of Pemberley, assured that the family is not in residence; Elizabeth meets Mr. Darcy, unexpectedly, at Pemberley and he is very civil to her and her relatives (chapter 43)

11. Elizabeth finds out, by letter while she's staying at the inn that Lydia has eloped with Mr. Wickham; Mr. Darcy finds her in a state and Elizabeth tells him the truth (chapter 46)

12. Mr. Wickham and Lydia, who have not married but are living together, have been found (chapter 49)

13. Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy come back to Netherfield (chapter 53)

14. Mr. Bingley proposes to Jane (chapter 55)

15. Mr. Darcy proposes again to Elizabeth and is accepted (chapter 58)

As for music, I don't think you can do better than use the original soundtrack from A%26amp;E's 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice http://www.amazon.com/Pride-Prejudice-Or... - the best movie version of the book made.
Reply:I'm not sure what your asking, but here are a few main events: 1. Bingley moves to the neighborhood. 2. The Bennett's meet him and Darcy at a dance. 3. No one is impressed with Darcy's character. 4. Bingley starts liking Elizabeth's elder sister, Jane. 5. Darcy convinces Bingley to move to town so he won't fall for her even more. 6. Darcy starts liking Elizabeth. 7. Darcy asks Elizabeth to marry him. 8. Mr. Collins asks for Elizabeth's hand, which she refuses. 9. Collins marries Elizabeth's best friend. 10. Wickim (sp?) comes into the picture. 11. Wickim runs away with Lydia Bennett. 12. Elizabeth starts liking Darcy. 13. Bingley and Jane marry. 14. Darcy and Elizabeth marry.

These are not necessarily in chronlogical order. Hope that helps some!
