Edo Period Events... Social, Economical or Political?

i have the the dates and the events that happened on them. At the very end i have whether each event was Social, Economic, or Political.


Can you tell me if i chose the right one please? if i got it wrong can u tell me what u would put for it?

1603- Tokugawa Ieyasyu is made Shogun. Edo/Tokugawa period begins.


1614- Shogun responds to rumored plots of a take over. All Christian missionaries are ordered out of japan


1635- Shogun passes laws that severely restrict contact between Japan and the world


1639- Shogun bans Portuguese ships and expels foreigners except for some Dutch, Chinese and Korean traders


1701- The 47 Ronin Avenge the death of their leader


1720- Importation of European books were allowed but none involving/on Christianity


1744- Shogun encourages the studying of astronomy and has an observatory built in Edo


1825- “No Second Thought Expulsion Order” is introduced. All foreign ships are chased away upon sighting


1839- The Opium war between China and Great Britan
