I have to do a report on the year 1969. We have to include an invention, cultuaral event, political event, person that died or was born, natural disaster, place receiving attention and an influential person. I'm mainly stuck on political events and influential people, but other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
1969 Political Events and Influential People?
The one that springs to mind is man landing on the moon. Very controversial at the time due to how much it cost and the extreme poverty which existed in many areas.
